Learning, Ethos & Values
Personal Development is central to all learning within the school. It is embedded across the curriculum, where pupils learn the importance of positive attitudes and behaviours, such as self-discipline, resilience and British Values.
The school's curriculum is rich with character building experiences, not just within the classroom. Pupils develop character and important life skills through a varied extra-curricular programme. Pupils can access a wide range of enrichment activities, and as such are exposed to a wide variety of cultural, academic and adventurous activities. Activities include: after school clubs, trips, The Duke of Edinburgh Award, guest speakers as part of our 'An Audience With' and 'Spotlight on Careers' series and close working partnerships with local businesses and Universities.
